Pregnancy Fashion Trends: Celebrating The Bump In Maternity Dressing
Inspired by Rihanna’s fabulous pregnancy outfits as showcased throughout 2025, we predict bolder maternity style will become big news in 2026.
Rihanna flipped traditional pregnancy fashion by highlighting instead of hiding her bump, wearing see-through fabrics, crop tops, bodycon dresses and belly jewellery. We think mamas-to-be will be similarly inspired to wear tighter outfits, shorter styles and bump-baring fabrics.
Sienna Miller, who is expecting her third child later this year, showed she was right on trend by debuting her baby bump in a sheer dress at the Fashion Awards in London in December 2025.
Whatever your pregnancy style, remember that feeling comfortable is key and to wear what makes you feel relaxed and confident.
AI Used During The Fertility And Pregnancy Journey
The use of AI generated tools has increased exponentially in recent years, and we commented on the use of AI in fertility treatment for better outcomes in our 2025 pregnancy trend post. It’s a trend that’s set to develop in the pregnancy space in 2026.
A key trend in the fertility space is to set to be AI combined with the use of wearable technology such as smart watches or rings for closer monitoring of your cycle when trying for a baby, which could lead to better outcomes. Tech savvy mums-to-be are set to use AI to answer pregnancy questions and even predict the sex of their baby using scan photos (although we wouldn’t plan your nursery based on the answer!)
When it comes to the use of AI, it’s important to remember to always use trusted sources such as NHS.com for medical advice, and you can also check out all our TalkMum posts for supplement info.
