Need help swallowing a tablet or capsule?

Difficulty in swallowing tablets and capsules is quite a common experience. Vitabiotics have researched this extensively and recommend after chewing some food (e.g. banana), just before you swallow, pop it into your mouth and swallow it together with the chewed food, followed by some liquid. The throat opens up wider to swallow the chewed food and so it should go down with greater ease. Alternatively, it may be swallowed with thicker liquids such as smoothies.

If I don’t want to swallow the capsule can I break the capsule and consume the powder?

Yes, the Wellzyme capsules have been designed so the capsule can be pulled apart and the powder added to cold food or drink. Pull the capsule apart gently and sprinkle over the food/drink so as to minimise any accidental loss of the powder. Please consume the food/drink immediately after the powder has been added.
