Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream FAQ

Why has Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream been developed?

During pregnancy a woman's skin stretches rapidly to accommodate her growing baby, increasing the chance of developing stretch marks, which often first appear as reddish-purple marks on areas such as the stomach, hips and breasts. Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream has been specifically developed to gently protect stretching skin by providing essential ingredients to nourish, moisturise and heal.

When is Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream recommended?

Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream is recommended when the skin starts to stretch during the first trimester. This is because the sooner potential stretch marks are cared for - when they are red or reddish purple - the more likely you are to lessen their appearance. Once they begin to smooth and fade they become less obvious and far more difficult to treat successfully.

As the skin contracts after pregnancy it can also lose its suppleness, which is why Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream should be continued to be applied after giving birth, to help contracting skin stay supple.

Can Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream be used with medicines simultaneously?

As a general rule there is no reason why Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream may be used along-side medications. Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream is free from any drugs or hormones. For more specific advice, we recommend that you contact your doctor or pharmacist first.

How and when should Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream be used?

Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream should be gently massaged into the stomach, waist, thighs and breasts, avoiding the nipple area (this is also important as a means to prevent the cream coming into contact with your baby if you use the cream during breast feeding). Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream can be used daily, during and after pregnancy.

Are there any undesired effects whist using Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream?

Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream has no known side effects when used as directed. Do not apply on broken skin or the nipple area. Store in a dry place below 25°C.

What Are The Nutrients Included?

The key nutrients found in our Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream product includes Evening Primrose Oil, Aloe Extract, Vitamin E and Vitamin C.To see the full list of ingredients for this product please click on the nutritional information tab found on this listing.

How long does it take to experience any benefit?

Results vary amongst individuals, but in most cases we would expect mothers-to-be to experience suppler skin after just two weeks. In UK trials, 76% of pregnant women who used Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream on a daily basis said they noticed suppler skin in two weeks.

Is Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream recommended with any other Vitabiotics product(s) during pregnancy?

Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream can be used in conjunction with Pregnacare tablets or liquid, Osteocare tablets, Chewable, liquid or effervescent.

How to subscribe to Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream?

Each Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream pack contains 30 days supply (1 month), we recommend subscribing to 1 pack every 1 month.

Women choose Pregnacare Stretch Mark Cream because it’s gently formulated to care for expanding skin during, and contracting skin after, pregnancy. It has a unique combination of nutrients with a gentle soothing lavender and citrus fragrance.
