It can help have a friendly voice to listen to for advice, information, comfort and support, and to know it’s not just you who is going through what you’re going through.

Step forward our five fertility-friendly podcasts, which we look at in our final post in Fertility Awareness Week.

5 Fertility Friendly Podcasts

Izzy Judd’s Let’s Talk Fertility

Izzy, mum of two and wife of McFly singer Harry, recently recorded a series of podcasts to discuss fertility issues, including her own journey to conceive her daughter. Sponsored by Pregnacare, the series includes interviews with celebrities, experts and discussions on all things fertility including IVF, surrogacy and the male perspective on fertility problems. We recap Let's Talk Fertility in our recent post.

The Fertility Podcast

Launched in 2014, The Fertility Podcast was devised and hosted by Natalie, to help educate and empower people around fertility issues. The episodes to date feature over 200 interviews with fertility experts and women and men who are affected.

Alice Rose - TTC Life Raft

The podcast TTC Life Raft aims to empower you through loss or infertility and is presented by fertility campaigner Alice Rose. With her own experience of infertility, Alice aims to empower people to take charge of their fertility issues, the idea of the ‘life raft’ being something that helped when she was struggling. Although dealing with serious and potentially upsetting issues, the podcast is warm and friendly and aims to educate and ultimately uplift people going through fertility issues.

Big Fat Negative

A podcast about fertility, IVF and when trying for a baby doesn’t go to plan. Co-hosted by two friends, journalists Emma and Gabriella, the show features interviews with experts, a wealth of personal stories and the answers to every question you might have about fertility issues or treatment, where nothing is too taboo. The friendly and honest rapport between the hosts makes this a comforting and entertaining listen. Although the podcast is taking a break while both of the presenters have a baby, there are 49 episodes to listen to and they will be back in 2019.

Finally Pregnant

What happens when you finally become pregnant after years of fertility issues? Hosted by long-time fertility campaigner Cat Strawbridge, this podcast addresses the fact that pregnancy after fertility issues might not all be plain sailing emotionally and offers information and support.
