Looking back at Motherhood Month

'Motherhood is the greatest thing and the hardest thing.' Rikki Lake

For the past few weeks we've been looking at motherhood, in many shapes and forms, and what it's like to be a mum today.

So here's a quick recap of all our posts:

Charlotte's baby is now due, so she vlogged for us on preparing for labour as a second-time mum and also the differences between boy and girl pregnancies.

If you're about to become a mum and your due date is approaching, how will you know when you're in labour? Ten mums tell us the very early signs of labour and how they knew their baby was on the way.

Breastfeeding is a big issue - and often a challenge - when you're a new mum, so Katie talked about her breastfeeding journey first and second time, and her hopes for her new baby.

How easy is it to make new friends as a mum? Fran looked at how to meet other mums, especially when you don't take an NCT class.

New mum Jenny looked at the things that surprised her about motherhood in a beautifully honest post. We also talked to mum Kat from PANDAS about her charity trek.

Health is so important when you're a parent, so we looked at quick health hacks for mums and tips for getting a good night's sleep.

We also looked at the unexpectedly brilliant benefits of motherhood (from eating leftover fish fingers through to having a go on the swings)

Thanks so much for reading! Make sure you enter our competition to win a UME Lite Stroller with Summer Infant and come back soon for our next monthly theme.
