Keeping fit and well, eating a good fertility diet and having regular sex, of course, are all vital. However, there are a couple of useful items which can help when you're trying for a baby, from keeping track of your cycles and periods to helping pinpoint the best time to try.

So here's five items that will help with TTC if you're trying for a baby:

A 2017 diary, to keep track of all your cycle dates. We love this colourful planner from Kikki K.

Or you might prefer to use an app instead; we like period and fertility tracker Clue (but lots of options are available - make sure you read our list of fertility tracking apps too).

Temperature charting is a way of tracking ovulation. Use a basal body thermometer to take yours every morning (and keep track of it in your diary).

Ovulation Prediction Kits, or OPKs, can help you detect the hormone levels in your urine that indicate the best time of the month to try for a baby. Clearblue Digital Ovulations tests are available here.

And, of course - Pregnacare! It is important to remember to support the health and wellbeing of both you and your partner when trying for a baby. Our Pregnacare His and Her Conception dual pack contains both Pregnacare Conception and Wellman Conception supplements with advanced nutritional support for men and women trying for a baby including vitamin D and folic acid plus zinc which supports normal reproduction.
