It's time to have a talk about our feelings...
Last month on TalkMum, we were covering all things work and we heard from the brilliant TalkMum bloggerson everything from being a stay at home mum to working full time. This month, we're going to be talking about all of the emotions we feel as mums - and boy are there a lot!
From the moment we discover we are pregnant, our lives are dominated by the feelings inside us. Joy, fear, apprehension, disbelief... And thanks to hormones, a pregnancy can be a time of feeling frustrated and short tempered as well as feeling excited. When we become a parent, it's easy to feel overcome with emotion - love for this tiny baby, tiredness thanks to their topsy turvy sleeping patterns and hope for your family's future.
It doesn't stop there, of course, with 'mum guilt', separation anxiety, post-natal depression and all sorts affecting many mums in the first year of their child's life.
We'll be looking at all of these, and suggesting ways of handling everything that being a mum throws at you, with expert tips and life lessons from our TalkMum bloggers.
