Ultra™ Omega-3 Liquid provides a rich source of the Omega-3 fatty acids DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) and EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid).
DHA and EPA are classed as essential fatty acids because they cannot be made efficiently by the body and must be obtained through the diet. Omega-3 fatty acid DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision¹ and brain function¹. Both DHA & EPA contribute to the normal function of the heart².
Vitamin D - This vitamin is produced within the body when the skin is exposed to the sun, some people do not get enough exposure to generate adequate vitamin D in their body, especially in the winter. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth and can contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Ultra™ Omega-3 Liquid provides 500 IU vitamin D per 5ml, as D3 the body's preferred, more active cholecalciferol form.
Natural vitamin E - An essential nutrient and protective antioxidant; vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and helps to protect the high purity oil.
