VITABIOTICS LAUNCH WELLKID BABY & INFANT

Vitabiotics have launched a unique liquid supplement for babies and infants to provide nutritional support from 3 months to 5 years. WellKid Baby & Infant is the most comprehensive liquid supplement available and provides nutritional support during a time when babies and infants have a high nutrient requirement. The pleasant tasting orange and vanilla flavour liquid can help support rapid physical growth while supporting the development of bones, muscles, blood and the brain.

WellKid Baby & Infant includes essential nutrients such as:

Omega-3 fatty acids derived from flaxseed oil. Omega-3 fatty acids are particularly important to help maintain a baby’s healthy brain function and vision. Vegetarian flaxseed oil is a rich source of omega-3 alpha linoleic acid which the body naturally converts into DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid). DHA is needed for its structural role in the cells of the central nervous system and EPA is essential for optimal brain function and cell signalling.

Vitamins A, C, D and E are included and may help to maintain a child’s healthy growth and immune system defence. The formula also contains Swiss Alpine malt as well as B vitamins including B1, B2 and folic acid essential for energy release. Vitamin D3 helps support the health of rapidly growing bones and teeth.  Supplementation of vitamins A, C & D is officially recommended for all babies over 6 months by UK government experts at the Food Standards Agency.

Iron and folic acid are also included and are essential for haemoglobin and healthy blood formation, the body’s transport system for nutrients and oxygen.
