About Professor Beckett,
OBE (1920 - 2010)
Professor Beckett was
Head of the School of
Pharmacy at Kings
College, London for 25
years. He published 465
research papers, and was
founding editor of the
distinguished
international journal of
Medicinal Chemistry. His
professional posts
included President of
the Royal Pharmaceutical
Society, and the
Medicinal Commission of
the International
