Omega-3 Liquid provides:
EPA and DHA - a rich source of both
DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid).
EPA and DHA are classed as essential fatty acids because
they cannot be made efficiently by the body and must be
obtained through the diet. Omega-3 fatty acids serve both a
structural role in the make-up of cell membranes such as in
the brain and eyes and a functional role as precursors for
our bodies own hormones. They can help maintain a healthy
heart, brain, eyes and as well as general all
round health.
Vitamin D - This vitamin is produced within the body
when the skin is exposed to the sun but many people are not
always exposed to enough sun to generate adequate vitamin D
especially in the winter. Vitamin D is best known for its
role in bone health but new research shows that it
may also be important in areas such as the immune system
and cardiovascular function and that higher levels
than previously thought are now recommended. Aquamarine®
Omega-3 provides 500 IU Vitamin D per 5ml, as D3 the body’s
preferred, more active cholecalciferol form.
Vitamin E (Natural Source) - An important natural
preservative for the Omega-3 oil and powerful antioxidant
nutrient. Vitamin E works at a cellular level to help
protect against potentially harmful free radicals (the
unstable molecules that cause damage to cells). It offers a
multitude of benefits including helping to maintain heart
health, supporting the immune system and the health of the
